Bird Specialties of Pakistan

White-throated Tit:

This small Tit closely resembles the Black-throated Tit and the White-cheeked Tit. Unlike the Black-throated Tit it has a white throat. The White-cheeked Tit can be distinguished because of it having white cheeks as compared to the black cheeks of this Tit.

Red Data Status:
Unspecified.

World Distribution:
The White-throated Tit's global distribution is restricted to 3 countries, Pakistan, India and Nepal. In India the White-cheeked Tit occurs in Kashmir in Gulmarg and Kaz-i-Nag Range. Its range barely extends in the west to Nepal.

Distribution in Pakistan:
In Pakistan it occurs in the Neelum valley, Hazara District in the Kaghan valley and Indus Kohistan.

Places to See White-throated Tit:
In Pakistan this Tit can be seen near Shogran, Kadir Gali and Machiara National Park. It can also be encountered in Kandia and Palas valley.
