Crocodilians
of Pakistan
Crocodilians
(crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gharials), are prominent and
widespread occupants of tropical and subtropical aquatic habitats. There
are 23 living crocodilian species in the world represented by three
families, ALLIGATORIDAE, CROCODYLIDAE and GAVIALIDAE. In Pakistan two
families are represented by two species of Crocodilians.
